    Position Description:

    Job Purpose and Scope

    Responsible for contributing to the overall quality of Business Resilience across the Bank by proactively collaborating with business unit managers to prepare for, manage through, and recover from disruptions that impact the Bank.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Conducts Business Impact Analyses' and risk assessments related to Business Continuity with general oversight and support from lead analysts and management, as needed.

    • Monitors operations and business communication channels for potential disruptions and is the first responder.

    • Responds timely to all inquiries and/or notifications of disruptions with business partners, including when on call as scheduled (evenings, weekends, and holidays, etc.).

    • Applies the Bank's Enterprise Response Plan and associated playbooks to make recommendations during disruptions which includes decisions to escalate disruptions as required to engage additional resources, as warranted.

    • Acts as the incident manager for low and medium severity disruptions, until such time as the magnitude of the incident warrants handoff to more senior personnel or leadership.

    • Updates Business Continuity plans and works effectively with Business Resilience plan owners, coordinators, and other business partners.

    • Logs managed incidents and documents test plans with general oversight and support from lead analysts and management.

    • Identifies and documents action items resulting from tests and live events.

    • Participates in the development and execution of Business Resilience program exercises and/or testing including on evenings and weekends.

    • Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.

    • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.

    • Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

    • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity concepts, frameworks, and principles.

    • Ability to adapt to change and investigate emerging trends and recommend related enhance- ments for the program and/or related strategies.

    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Position Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in job-related field or commensurate work experience, required.

    • 1+ years of work experience in crisis management, business continuity, business resilience, and/or disaster recovery, preferred.
