What You Will Do

The candidate join the Global Patriot SSBU supporting the emerging Netherlands portfolio. The successful candidate will support the Business Manager in the management of cost control, EVMS compliance and execution of the existing backlog. The selected individual will support all aspects of the financial control including review of the financial forecasts, manpower reporting, development of the annual operating plan and long range plan, Earned Value reporting, EACs, funding analysis, proposals, negotiations and gate support. This position requires proactive leadership and significant partnership with the Program Directors, Program Managers.

This position is contingent upon award of the first DCS award slated for January 2025. Some travel may be required. This role is being offered onsite in Andover, MA with no relocation assistance being offered.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

• FP&A activities, ad hoc proposal support, monthly forecasting, Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Plans

• Solve complex problems quickly & effectively, excellent communication & presentation skills, and can mentor/lead earlier career finance analysts

• Support the EAC (Estimate at Complete), Earned Value and Budget Change Requests (BCR) processes, as well as Budget Sign Up during program startup and Baseline activities as new scope is awarded

• Support approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems

• Preparation and presenting of Earned Value (EV) financial data for Monthly Operating Reviews, Financial Reviews etc.

• Program control including understanding and interpreting monthly variance analysis, billing

• Support program offset projects

• Support Ad Hoc Tasks & Analysis as required

• Provide meaningful business insight and analysis, and will communicate effectively with all partners.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field & 5 years of related work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of related work experience

• Experience with SAP, APEX, PRISM, AO and/or Rplan

• Experience with data analysis and reporting

• Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint)

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
