WEG Electric Corp. has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager -Capital Projects.The position is tasked with identifying and securing relationships with key-players specific to Medium/High Voltage Motors, Generators, VFDs, and Systems for Capital Projects with target end-users within the Power, Metals, and Mining (PMM) Markets to gain acceptance and preference for WEG.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for growth within the company's HVS business unit via effective engagement with all

• levels of customer stakeholders involved (End-Users / EPCs).

• Grow and effectively manage WEG-s progress in positioning (acceptance, preference, and AVLs) for Capital Projects.

• Early identification of Capital Projects to drive specification position (AVLs) for WEG

• Inquire, understand, and communicate customer processes to allow WEG to undergo and meet necessary requirements.

• Drive collaboration within the company to tailor equipment and solutions offerings to differentiate the company

• Strengthen and protect the company's local brand: meet, investigate and participate in relevant conferences, industry

• events, and customer/EPC engagements as required/necessary.

• Collaborate with and support broader WEG selling teams to promote and achieve objectives for MV/HV Motors, Generators,

• VFDs, and Systems.

• Collaboratively problem-solve to achieve successful project references and continue to strengthen WEG-s market reputation.

• Achieve organizational goals and successfully meet KPIs and reporting requirements.

• Other duties and tasks as assigned

• Travel 50%+ domestically

Education: (minimum education or equivalent in relevant experience)

Bachelor-s degree

Field of Study if required: Engineering and/or business degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge

• Strong breadth and depth of knowledge of customer-needs and market-trends within the PMM markets.

• Demonstrated success in acquiring and nurturing new relationships within the PMM markets.

• Strong knowledge of existing end-users and EPCs that support the PMM markets.

• Demonstrated ability to identify, meet, and present to all levels of the customer pyramid.

• Knowledge of Medium/High Voltage Motors, Generators, and/or VFD systems is preferred

• Effective self-management and timely execution of duties

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Reporting, Tracking, Communication, and Follow-Up/Follow-Through

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant business experience is preferred.
