Business Analyst

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in The Woodlands, Texas, 77380, United States. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in facilitating collaboration sessions, administering critical business systems, and managing Power BI workspaces. You will also be responsible for translating business requirements into technical documentation and supporting business partners during user-acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration sessions to bridge communication gaps and remove potential blockers

• Administer crucial business systems including ERP and document management systems

• Engage with multiple LOBs to write user stories and gather requirements

• Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into technical documentation for developers

• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, DSUs, product demos, and retrospectives

• Manage board discipline ensuring all work is properly documented on the team task board

• Support business partners during user-acceptance testing, including environment stabilization, test setup, test execution, and review of test results

• Manage Power BI workspaces and contribute to Power BI report and data-set development as needed

• Perform system administration for third-party applications and engage with vendor consultants as needed. Requirements - Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is expected.

• Must have experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

• A solid understanding and experience with databases is required.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is a must.

• Candidates should possess skills in performing Gap Analysis.

• Knowledge and experience in AB Testing is necessary.

• Agile Scrum methodology should be well understood and practiced.

• Understanding of Business Process Functions is crucial for this role.

• Ability to craft a comprehensive Business Requirement Document is expected.

• Experience in Claim Administration is highly desirable.
