Business Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to sit with one of our largest entertainment clients. This person will be joining the Media Conversions team within the Digital Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for the media conversions system which converts digital assets into various formats suitable for distribution across multiple digital markets. This BA will be in charge of supporting new business initiatives, system features, data conversions/migrations, and system implementations and rollouts. Day to day responsibilities include managing agile ceremonies, leading backlog grooming sessions, testing, identifying potential risks, managing and maintaining long-term roadmap of high-level projects, communicating project statuses, etc. This person will be working closely with members of Global Media Production, the Digital Systems Group, the Global Tech Teams, and Global Business Units to gather, analyze, and document requirements. They need to be proactive, have excellent written/verbal communication, have great organization, and take initiative.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Excellent written/verbal communication, comfortable with public speaking, great organization, and proactive work ethic

• Technical skills with the willingness to learn - Proficient in writing and Executing SQL queries and generating reports

• Experience with API lookup and testing using Postman or a comparable API testing tool

• High-level understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure, particularly in AWS environment null
