Business Analyst

Description

We are in search of a Business Analyst to strengthen our team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with managing large amounts of data from various sources, conducting complex financial analysis, and delivering insightful presentations. Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing large volumes of data from diverse entities

• Conducting gap analysis to identify areas for improvement or enhancement

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Preparing and delivering presentations with a high level of proficiency

• Tracking operational metrics, such as production, returns, and efficiency initiatives

• Analyzing sales reports based on customer details, region, SKU, and other factors

• Monitoring vendor usage and freight costs by carrier

• Handling operational finance-related data and conducting ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position

• Proficiency in Gap Analysis, with the ability to identify and bridge business performance gaps

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, formulae, and macros

• Strong Data Analytics abilities, with experience in using data-driven insights to make informed business decisions

• Experience in conducting Complex Financial Analysis, with a focus on evaluating and improving financial performance

• Proficient in performing Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, capable of providing quick solutions to sudden financial issues and challenges
