As the Software Architect, you will deliver software solutions, architecture design for DevOps Tools and Enablement Solutions in Enterprise Technology Architecture. This role requires a blend of IT engineering skills, cloud technology skills and AI knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. You should have experience with industry-standard software development environments, web technologies, tools, and techniques including DevOps CICD technologies and process.
Design and develop architecture for DevOps Tools, Enablement teams and assist product teams to achieve their strategic objectives related to DevOps Tools and software engineering, and cloud computing technologies.
Conduct PoCs and comparative studies on emerging DevOps tools and technologies with/without AI, evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies to enhance software engineer experience.
Integrate AI solutions to optimize Software development experience, processes and enhance decision-making.
Implement DevOps practices to automate and streamline the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing DevOps systems and stay updated with the latest AI trends and DevOps technologies.
Provide architectural guidance, recommend appropriate technologies related to SaaS and GCP to ensure software products are scalable, reliable, performant and security complaint with enterprise strategic directions.
Collaborate with product teams to define, assemble, and integrate components e.g. hardware, software, Cloud technology services etc. ensuring performance efficiency, availability, scalability, and reliability.
Work closely with software engineers to enable the design, development, and support of Platforms, APIs, and services.
Engage with Product Owners, Product Managers, Technical Anchors, and other Agile Product team SMEs to contribute to their delivery milestones.
Guide product teams to define new solutions and integrations with other customer-facing products.
Guide product teams to define cloud migration plan and architect the future state application design.
Maintain open channels of communication by providing relevant information, technical expertise, and recommended best practices and patterns.
Mentor software engineers and guide them on troubleshooting of application technical, performance and security issues and ensure that the team adheres to best practices and standards.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information Science, computer engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of Software development experience required with programming languages such as Java, Java script, Python, or C++.
5+ years of working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices experience (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Tekton, SonarQube, Fossa etc.).
5+ Years of Cloud native, microservice based software architecture and API design.
2+ years' experience working with Cloud Technologies (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure etc.).
Advanced degree in computer science, information Science, computer engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of Software development experience required with programming languages such as Java, Java script, Python, or C++ including TDD expertise.
8+ years of working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices experience (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Tekton, SonarQube, Fossa etc.).
4+ years' experience working with GCP Cloud Technologies.
Expertise in API related technologies such as JSON, REST, gRPC, GraphQL, Swagger, and Postman.
Expertise in API design standards, patterns, and best-practices. Experience helping troubleshoot application and performance issues.
Expertise in architecting software solution using various GCP and SaaS technologies and defining the cloud migration strategy for on-prem and legacy software applications.
Strong negotiation and collaboration skills and ability to work with several diverse sets of partners, internal and external users, vendors etc.
Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills with ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
Expertise in performing comparative analysis for diverse set of technologies. and justify the recommendations.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
