Building Maintenance Technician

Walsh is currently seeking an Building Maintenance Technician for our Equipment Division Regional Office located on the South Side of Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with a minimum of direct supervision

• Maintain the cleanliness of the equpiment repair facility.

• Support a team with power, lighting, parts, water.

• Pressure wash as necessary

• Water the landscaping

• Set up / Take Down portable furniture for group meetings.

• Dispose all unwanted materials.

• Valid Drivers License Required with clean driving record. For local deliveries.

• Manage inbound and outbound small package deliveries.Periodically direct deliveries to there right location.

• Ability to pass training and certification to run warehouse forklift.Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Good attendance is critical.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Will be required to work at heights up to 10 feet.

• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

• Excellent teamwork and team building skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Building heated, not air-conditioned, and may work some outside in all weather

• Constant Standing, Grasping, Reaching, Lifting, Carrying, Walking, Pushing, Pulling.

• Occasional climbing of stairs
