Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working with a variety of building materials including wood, masonry, steel, and concrete. You will be expected to handle projects of different sizes ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. These projects will span across various types like retail, ground up buildings, pad buildings, tilt-up, multi-use residential, hospitably, and tent structures. You will be supporting 5-10 projects at a time, analyzing load spreads including gravity and lateral forces, calculating the stability of buildings, and managing project budgets and timelines. You will also lead a team of junior engineers to ensure on-time completion of project deliverables. You will be required to manage the project from the pre-design stage, creating project schedules and budgets, and implementing project designs and deliverables.

Work Environment

This position is office-based with core working hours from 9 AM to 4 PM. Flex-time is available and a minimum of 40 hours per week is expected. The team consists of 13 members including 4 principals and 7 structural engineers.
