    In the role of Bridge Intern, we'll count on you to:

    • Perform standard bridge engineering design procedures
    • Assist with bridge concept studies and geometric layout
    • Develop structural details using specialized software (MicroStation, Mathcad, LARSA, or various concrete and steel design or analysis programs)
    • Perform structural load rating calculations
    • Help produce bridge plans using CADD software
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Preferred Qualification

    • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
    • Candidates enrolled in a graduate Civil Engineering program preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
    • Preference will be given to local candidates
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
    • Attention to detail
    • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
