Summary
As the Brand Communications Specialist at Xpedient, you will be the driving force behind our internal and external communication and marketing strategies. This role requires a versatile individual who can manage various communication channels, execute marketing strategies, and enhance our brand identity. You will work closely with sales, operations, and executive management to achieve our business objectives. Responsibilities
Communication Management:
- External Communication: Oversee social media platforms, company websites, and media relations.
- Internal Communication: Draft newsletters, memos, and internal training materials.
- Crisis Communication: Develop and implement communication procedures for various situations or crises.
- Brand Voice: Collaborate with other teams to define and maintain the public voice of the brand.
Marketing Leadership:
- Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth.
- Content Creation: Produce digital content for websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
- Advertising: Manage LinkedIn and Google advertising/marketing efforts.
- Design and Development: Handle some graphic design and website design, development, and support.
- Sales Support: Provide marketing support to sales teams.
- Metrics and Analysis: Utilize Google Analytics to monitor KPIs like website traffic and conversion rates, and assess marketing effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively.
Brand Management:
- Brand Identity: Cultivate and maintain a strong brand identity.
- Market Research: Identify growth opportunities through market research and competitive analysis.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Draft press releases, speeches, letters, interdepartmental memos, contracts, and other business correspondence.
- Issue Management: Identify and manage issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidentiality: Handle confidential and sensitive company information.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation, website management, social media, and email marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytical tools to measure marketing performance.
- Design Skills: Basic graphic design and website development skills.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Google advertising/marketing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft a variety of business documents.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to work independently and drive marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with sales, operations, and executive management teams.
- Confidentiality: Trustworthy with handling sensitive information.
Regular Tasks:
- Social Media- Researching, creating, publishing, content calendar
- Apparel- Design, Ordering, Maintain budget
- Sales- Support sales on a daily basis with researching new marketing techniques, developing metrics, creating new sales campaigns, etc.
- Graphic Design- Develop material for internal/external distribution such as holiday cards, calendars, newsletter, safety alerts, etc.
- Light contract work
- Report out on monthly metrics to leadership team and suggested actions for approval
- Maintain website
- PowerPoint presentation creation
- Meeting coordination
