Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the heart of WEST CHESTER, Pennsylvania. This role is primarily based in the office and is within the accounting industry. As a Bookkeeper, you will be instrumental in managing financial data and complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all invoices are accurately input into the system, ensuring a high level of detail and accuracy.

• Oversee cash receipts, keeping records updated and ensuring accuracy.

• Perform regular balance sheets reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting and data.

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis.

• Efficiently handle data entry tasks including entering W-2's and scanning tax documents.

• Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various bookkeeping activities.

• Regularly perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Requirements - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated Bookkeeping skills

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Experience in Payroll management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
