Bookkeeper (Bilingual Mandarin Required)

Description

Our client has an opportunity for a dynamic Bilingual Mandarin Bookkeeper who is proficient in Mandarin and English. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, ensuring all this financial information is accurate and up-to-date for our company.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile financial discrepancies.

• Monitor financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchase orders.

• Prepare financial statements as necessary, including cash-flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

• Assist with annual budget preparations and associated forecasting.

• Liaise with vendors and clients in Mandarin as necessary.

• Process payroll on a regular basis.

• Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

• Prepare tax returns and necessary financial documentation.

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience.

• Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

• Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
