BioMed Material Handler

Adecco is helping their client in Everett, WA, find their next Material Handler. This is a temporary to permanent position.

Responsibilities :

-Coordinate & perform picking and shipping of internal & external orders

-Receive & route material to designated locations

-Kanban bin fill and execution

-Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.

-Set up locations in Oracle and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.

-Sustain material presentations in the cells utilizing FBS tools including internal Material System (FMS) and 5S.

-Physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials.

-Investigate and reconcile bad counts with assistance of senior material handler

Requirements :

-Ability to work in a Manufacturing environment including repetitive use of upper extremities.

-Position may require occasional heavy lifting (> 50 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.

-Safety glasses may be required.

-Must be able to read, speak and understand English fluently in order to communicate and provide directions to various team members in operations

-Available to work a minimum of 10% overtime when required.

Desirable :

-Minimum of 2-4 years of material and Kanban execution experience

-Oracle User

-Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment.

Position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Pay is $17-20/hour based on experience

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
