    The Biomanufacturing Process Support Technician for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the Biopharmaceutical manufacturing process, including but not limited to raw material dispensing, kitting, equipment setup, autoclave operations and parts washer maintenance.

    This position is part of the Biopharma services team located in Vancouver, Canada and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

    What you will do:

    • Assist in the setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment monitoring during production to ensure proper functionality and routine maintenance as required.

    • Operate autoclaves to sterilize equipment and materials. Monitor autoclave cycles and maintain detailed records of sterilization processes.

    • Operate parts washer equipment to clean and sanitize manufacturing tools and components. Ensure all parts are properly cleaned and stored in accordance with SOPs.

    Who you are

    • Post secondary experience in biotechnology, bioprocessing, chemical engineering, biomanufacturing or related field

    • Understanding of Biomanufacturing Processes: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and batch records.

    • Ability to operate equipment used in the manufacturing of biologics (e.g., bioreactors, centrifuges, filtration units), troubleshoot and optimize processes where necessary.

    Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

    • Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting/moving (<50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods.

    • Manual dexterity in handling sensitive equipment/materials

    • Must pass a medical and eye exam to ensure the ability to perform essential job functions effectively and meet regulatory requirements.

    The salary range for this role is $55,000-$62,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
