Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Newport News, Virginia, United States. The role involves managing customer billing and accounts receivable, ensuring thorough review and resolution of complex accounts, and addressing customer queries related to billing.

Responsibilities

• Handle third-party billing operations efficiently

• Work closely with customers to address billing disputes and errors

• Manage complex account reviews to ensure accuracy

• Utilize your accounting experience to enhance billing operations

• Maintain a detailed and organized record of all customer accounts

• Proactively monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions as required. Requirements - Applicant must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience in the Non-Profit industry is highly desirable.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential.

• Must be detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is preferable.

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.
