    Position Overview:

    Responsible for processing monthly construction draw requests and ensuring subcontractor compliance for the release of monthly payments.

    Billings:

    • Prepare and finalize monthly draw requests to the owner.
    • Regular follow up with Owner on monthly draw funding status.

    Contract Compliance:

    • Verify contracts, W-9s, and insurance/bond information are received.
    • Review subcontractors draw payouts for missing sworn statements and lien waivers.

    Lien Waivers:

    • Obtain 2nd tier supplier/sub waivers and Sworn Statements.
    • Ensure all monthly lien waivers are submitted to the title company.

    Project Close Out:

    • Verify all closeout documents are received prior to final payment.

    Secondary Job Functions:

    • Maintain and grow technical knowledge through professional development.
    • Perform monthly audits to ensure the integrity of our accounting system.
    • Quarterly review of purchase orders for Use Tax obligations.
    • Other monthly duties as assigned/required

    Requirements:

    Education & Experience:

    • High School diploma required.
    • Accounting degree or 2-5 years of relevant work experience preferred but not required.

    Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Effective organizational skills to manage a large workload.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to operate a ten-key calculator and type 45 wpm.

    Computer Applications:

    • Intermediate Excel skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with database or accounting systems.

    Working Conditions:

    • Regularly required to sit, stand, write, and operate a computer and standard office equipment.
    • Frequent communication with customers.
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    Compensation details: 22-28 Hourly Wage
