Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and performing office duties with the Billing team. All work will be done in accordance with company policy.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Implement and manage all automated primary (Linehaul) and secondary (FSC and Accessorial charges) tariffs for all customers.
• Develop automated tariffs for all existing customer and all lanes.
• Implement an internal FSC index and manage the rating weekly and monthly.
• Participate in the customer onboarding process.
• Be the control point for all tariffs and ratings.
• Streamline current billing process, using the inherent McLeod workflow.
• Develop the billing process utilizing the automation built into our system.
• Develop scanning/imaging and indexing process and implement an improvement plan across the company.
• Manage, mentor and train Billing Clerk and Billing, Collection Specialist and Account Receivable.
• Develop better reporting to the finance team and leadership.
• Work with locations and other future acquisitions on streamlining processes and managing billing accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Willing to assist others.
• Must be able to work with tight deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and billing team on a daily basis.
