General Summary:Entry level administrative position. Reporting directly to the Regional Director-FCC the administrative tech assistant provides confidential administrative assistance relating to technology support, family documentation, and educator documentation. Answers phones, files, manages parent fees, responds to inquiries, refers to appropriate staff, takes messages, and relays information as needed; organize and maintain children and educator files, prepare and distribute related materials.
Essential Functions:- Collect and maintain children's files with all required up to date documentation.
- Collect and maintain Family Child Care Educator's files with all required up to date documentation, to include assisting with FCC educator liability insurance renewals.
- Maintain FCC databases with accurate and up to date family and FCC Educator data.
- Perform all functions as they relate to parent fee collection and billing.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, take messages, and relay information as needed.
- Assist families with being added to the state's waitlist system for future child care enrollment (Kinderwait).
- Actively monitor and pull families from the state waitlist when vacancies become available.
- Collect documentation necessary to process family's initial enrollment authorizations as well as reauthorizations.
- Monitor and communicate office supplies inventory to Regional Director.
- Assist Family Childcare Educators with technical support around Nurtury and the state's online computer system(s).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
