Benefits Specialist

Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Benefits Specialist to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS sector. Located in El Cajon, California, you will be tasked with the crucial role of rectifying benefit discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and providing clear communication to employees regarding their benefit eligibility. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough reconciliation of benefit discrepancies from the past year

• Ensure accurate enrollment of employees in life insurance policies and other benefit programs

• Communicate clearly and effectively with employees regarding their benefit eligibility

• Collaborate effectively with the finance team to rectify any payroll discrepancies related to benefits

• Work closely with insurance carriers, primarily Guardian, to confirm the accuracy of file feeds

• Assist in resolving issues related to Guardian life insurance policies, ensuring accurate payroll and benefit enrollments

• Conduct detailed benefits analysis to ensure employee benefits are administered correctly

• Utilize your knowledge of Paycom and other benefits administration tools to maintain accurate records and perform your duties efficiently. Requirements - Proficient understanding and application of Benefit Functions within the healthcare sector

• Demonstrated ability in using Paycom software to manage employee data and benefits

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Life Insurance Plans, including selection, administration, and claims processing

• Proven expertise in Benefits Administration, including plan design, implementation, and compliance

• Strong analytical skills, particularly in Benefits Analysis, to evaluate the effectiveness and value of benefit programs

• Comprehensive understanding of Compensation & Benefits, including the ability to develop competitive packages and understand legal requirements. TalentMatch®
