Overview:

The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring the bar area is stocked, clean, and organized. They assist in maintaining a smooth flow of service by quickly replenishing stock, cleaning glassware, and assisting with customer service when needed. The role is fast-paced, requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all bar supplies (liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware) are readily available by restocking shelves, refrigerators, and workstations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping counters, cleaning glasses, and removing trash.
• Collect used glasses and dishes, run them through the dishwasher, and restock clean items.
• Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, opening bottles, and providing general support to maintain service flow.
• Assist bartenders with taking and serving orders when necessary, delivering high-quality service to guests.
• Monitor stock levels, report low supplies to management, and assist with inventory counts as required.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service protocols in line with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Meets age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
