Banquet Houseperson - Caribe Hilton

A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for supporting Banquet operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring cleanliness of all areas and maintaining equipment.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Houseperson, you are responsible for the set-up of Banquet events to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Houseperson will also be required to ensure cleanliness of all areas and maintain equipment. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Setup and dismantle banquet and meeting rooms for banquet events
• Maintain cleanliness of all Banquet spaces. Performs daily cleaning and deep cleaning schedule.
• Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects. Performs maintenance
• Store equipment properly and organizes banquet storerooms
• Project a professional manner to guests and team members
• Assist back of house team when requested
• Manage the mis-en-place relating to Food and Beverage functions and special menus in a timely manner
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Attend training provided by the hotel

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills. Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
• Excellent grooming standards
• Ability to work on your own or in teams

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions

• Previous experience in hotel/leisure/retail sector
