Banking Services Operations Associate IV (Retail Servicing Quality Control) - Hybrid

Overview:

Completes quality control of associate processes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as assigned and requiring knowledge of multiple systems and cross-departmental processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage department email box, assign tasks and follow-up on requests.

• Complete quality control functions on associate and vendor processes as assigned.

• Maintain department procedures and implement new procedures as needed.

• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

The jobholder works under minimal supervision while interacting with numerous internal RLS departments.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate's degree and a minimum of 1 years' work experience, OR

• In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Proven internal and external customer service experience

• Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent spreadsheet and word processing software

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Advanced problem solving skills

• Minimum of 1 years' relevant experience
