Banking Services Operations Associate III - Lease

Overview :

Processes work orders for clients related to account opening according to account specifications for Lease and Escrow customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete account set-up of new accounts, including processing check deposit and withdrawals and completing new and closed account maintenance to ensure accuracy of the customer record.

• Complete the certification process of W-8s & W-9s with the IRS.

• Complete account maintenance, including name changes, address updates, security deposit, tenant reference and cost center changes on the appropriate system.

• Complete daily verification of all the work types to ensure accuracy of completed activities.

• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Required:

Associate's degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years' higher education and/or work experience
