CVS Healthspire's Life Sciences Solutions organization conducts research with life sciences companies (such as pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers) to evaluate how therapeutics are performing in real world settings. This includes retrospective and prospective studies on patient experiences, health care costs and resource utilization, treatment patterns and clinical outcomes. CVS Healthspire is adding additional capabilities and products that will provide life sciences companies with a holistic solution portfolio in the future.
CVS Healthspire is recruiting for an AVP of Life Sciences Solutions (LSS) who will be a user-centered and data-driven leader with a passion for delivering high-impact and engaging experiences for customers - internally and externally. As a key executive, they will help drive the product strategy and management, business development, design, and data requirements to realize the vision of CVS Health's platform for Live Sciences Solutions.
You'll make an impact by:
Developing and overseeing the execution of Life Sciences Solutions' product roadmap to drive revenue growth, user engagement and increase market share. Own management of the roadmap and product KPIs including feature prioritization and scoping/resourcing in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Driving strategic and a competitive position through new business development to transform the industry. Being the domain expert on LSS products in the market and act as a key partner to executives and customers.
Owning the data strategy that powers the platform, developing mechanisms to capture and structure relevant data, driving holistic intelligence and applications for the business and customer products.
Understanding the needs of various stakeholders in and outside the organization and be the product and customer advocate.
Building and leading a world-class, user-centered and data and results-driven teams. Driving excellence, continuous improvement, and flexibility for the LSS organization, while simultaneously championing best practices for product, sales, research integrity, and overall operations.
Serving as the LSS overall spokesperson for strategy with key customers, academia, and key business partners. Providing ongoing communication ie. major opportunities, changes in release capabilities/dates, and competitive, market and pricing impacts to the executive level.
Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.
Required Qualifications:
The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company's business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:
15+ years of experience with overseeing product management, design, and data/analytics in high-growth B2B / B2C companies, with a strong interest in building data products.
15+ years of clinical study and research data experience.
10+ years of experience leading leaders, including ownership of budget, and driving KPIs.
Ability to see where the market, competition and industry are going, and creating a strong vision for where the product needs to be to win the market and customers.
Possesses financial literacy with an appreciation for what drives enterprise value.
Possesses strong ability to connect and streamline multiple touchpoints and experiences across a user's journey. Customer advocate with a focused, customer-led product design philosophy.
Effective at driving alignment across key stakeholders.
Experience building and scaling high-performing teams and enabling, mentoring team members.
Demonstrated success in developing and leading product strategy, product management, design, pricing and planning with a world-class team.
Ability to move quickly to identify business opportunities, prioritize high impact initiatives and ensure quality execution, and is exceptional at both leading teams and collaborating with executives and key leaders across all functions of the company, namely engineering, sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
Ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce and cross functional groups. Experience working in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Pay Range
$157,800.00 - $363,936.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
