    This role is responsible for aligning business goals with employees and management. The position should anticipate HR needs in a proactive manner and communicate these requirements and potential solutions to the management team. This position is the HR point of contact for management and employees for their assigned Business Units. This role should have a successful generalist background and be adept at developing consensus across all levels of the organization; successfully influence their business leaders and build solid working relationships to effect change; increase productivity and engagement.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Consults with management at all levels on HR matters that affect their employees and respective organizations

    • Primary point of contact for employees after they've onboarded and during their employment life cycle.

    • Coaches and provides guidance for employee and leader development, policy administration and compliance with support from Director

    • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures regarding employee relations, internal communications, employee morale and retention programs, HR compliance and procedures

    • Assists in the facilitation of annual performance review processes, calibration and Talent Assessments to ensure transparency about performance, effective manager leadership, and development of all employees

    • Utilizes the management tools like Culture Index and ActivTrak to support productivity and effectiveness of employees

    • Utilizes Workday to run reports to ensure data integrity and offer advice on roles and compensation during critical issues

    • Focuses on the engagement of employees through MTC, ERGs and our VoEs

    • Conducts exit interviews and interpret results and trends for management consumption

    • Partners with HR Risk & Compliance team to ensure our teams are adhering to policies and are in compliance with federal, state and local level agencies and legal guidelines

    • Provides performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.

    • Handles unemployment claims; front line benefit questions, helps leaders write or update job descriptions; manages offboarding tasks; responds to EEOC investigations; completes employment verifications.

    • Assists managers with corrective action/performance improvement plans or terminations.

    • Conducts investigations from employee complaints and provides a recommendation to Director on next steps.

    • Maintains current knowledge of federal, state and local legislation and regulations, assure programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government legislation

    • Coordinates with employee(s) on FMLA leave and other LOA's

    • FLSA audit and evaluation and recommends classification changes if needed

    • Performs special projects relating to the Human Resource function as directed by management and oversees management of various projects and related activities as assigned and prescribed by HR management

    • Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

    Qualifications/ Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with HR emphasis/major or the equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.

    • Experience with all key aspects of human resources functions including recruitment, job classification, benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations

    • Requires considerable skill in the ability to train, and a solid knowledge of all HR functions

    • Requires a strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures and federal/state laws regarding employment practices and labor relations laws

    • Demonstrates the ability to adapt to a variety of issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches

    • Excellent written, oral and organizational skills

    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organization in order to deescalate issues or influence change

    • Must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks for leaders and employees

    • Ability to keep information confidential

    • Must know how to use MS Office Suite programs, and advanced Excel functions

    The annual full time base salary range for this role is

    $90,000.00 - $130,000.00

    Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
