  • Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting various Project Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Quality Technician

    Location: Novi, MI

    Pay Range: $20-21/hr

    What's the Job?

    • Organizing routine data collection, analysis, and feedback.

    • Inspecting the production process and product quality at the plant and customer sites.

    • Reporting non-conforming products or processes to immediate supervision.

    • Developing and improving quality control checklists.

    • Conducting in-process inspections, torque audits, visual walks, and buy-offs.

    What's Needed?

    • 3-5 years of experience in Product or Process Quality Management in the automotive or allied industry.

    • Strong tooling experience and ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings.

    • Experience with checking fixtures, tooling build fixtures, and end effectors.

    • Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 3L5Y, 8D, and Kaizen.

    • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant software applications.
