Job Title: Electrical CAD Technician

Job Description

The CAD Technician will function as a member of a technical team alongside Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers and will be responsible for the creation and revision of technical drawings associated with electrical distribution design. Responsibilities include assisting with preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches, layouts, or written directions. The role requires adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures, as well as ANSI standard drafting practices. Additional duties involve drafting, design, and documentation for various projects, utilizing various drafting and design software, and assisting with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.

Hard Skills

• CAD

• Substation Design (not necessary but a plus)

• Desire to understand complete project

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Akron, Ohio.
