Audit Sr. - Public

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Audit Senior to join our team in Sherman Oaks, California. In this role, you will lead audits, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams within the public accounting industry. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial audits.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing audits within the public accounting industry

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure comprehensive audit coverage

• Utilizing accounting software systems to analyze financial data and draw conclusions

• Developing and implementing audit plans and programs

• Ensuring all accounting functions and audit engagements are performed accurately and in line with industry standards

• Continuously updating knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Traveling to assigned client locations as needed

• Maintaining a current and valid CPA's license or working towards obtaining the license

• Demonstrating excellent communication and client relations skills. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years experience in auditing or a related field

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience in conducting Audit Programs

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Audit Engagements

• Knowledge of Auditing principles and techniques

• Ability to create and implement Audit Plans

• Previous experience in a senior audit role is a plus
