    Description

    The Senior Manager, Global Operational Excellence & Global Risk will have dual roles within the department:

    On the Operational Excellence side: responsible to define and monitor our multi-year global audit transformation strategy and prioritization by working across the Internal Audit team in enhancing methodologies, frameworks, and quality, from resourcing to planning through execution and reporting, either by directly driving or by supporting leads/team as appropriate.

    On the Global Risk side: responsible for driving global focus over key risks, including identification, planning, and execution of audits, as well as reporting mechanism to highlight risk exposure across the company. This role will work across the Internal Audit team and the position will report to the Executive Director, Global Risk.

    Long Description

    Operational Excellence

    • Manage and support the multi-year global transformation initiative for Internal Audit (IA) to become a best-in-class organization

    • Refresh IA's transformation framework for outlining, assigning, and tracking initiatives globally, including continuous monitoring status/progress on a periodic basis to ensure both quality results and timely advancement

    • Work across the global IA team to ensure appropriate collaboration and accountability, including establishing a regular cadence of communication for the IA Leadership Team and broader team

    • Revamp the audit cycle by improving the impact of the planning and risk assessment processes, updating execution to be more targeted and analytics focused, and enhancing reporting to ensure quality and timely delivery

    • Evolve IA's people development platform with a comprehensive talent model that defines strategic objectives, provides mechanisms for regular feedback and establishes effective onboarding, off-boarding and promotion processes

    • Support and help drive technology enablement to deliver value, including audit management software, internal and external document repositories and audit analytics tools

    • Manage global audit plan from a resourcing perspective, including developing utilization model, resourcing plans and metrics/dashboards, as well as initial and day-to-day scheduling process

    • Refresh and streamline department policies / procedures to ensure transparency, efficiency and alignment in all regions

    • Facilitate content and coordination for quarterly department meetings and 1-2 global meetings per year

    • Engage and manage third party subject matter experts to provide expertise and/or accelerate global transformation strategy, as well as external quality assessments when needed

    • Cultivate strong relationships and drive collaboration and action amongst stakeholders, including financial compliance, ERM, controllership, regional and senior management

    Global Risk

    • Development and deployment of framework to monitor certain key risks at the global level, including establishment of audit approach, KPIs and reporting mechanism

    • Develop global risk audit plan, lead execution and reporting based on core and emerging risks identified through the risk assessment processes

    • Develop global process / function scorecards based on past audit history

    • Interaction with C-suite management team during reporting of global project result and scorecard on a quarterly basis

    • Managing third party subject matter experts and resources on key global risk projects, including budget and invoice approval

    • Identify opportunities to elevate risks across the region / company

    • Provide insights to internal regional teams on key risks impacting multiple business units, regions, etc.

    • Ad hoc responsibilities and/or projects as request

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree

    9+ years minimum experience within Finance & Strategy/Internal Audit

    10% travel time

    CPA preferred

    Project Management Certification preferred

    Pay Range:

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400.00 to $163,800.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan. In addition,
