    In this position...

    • Manage the audio supply chain to support Ford in delivering leading audio products and features, supporting Model e, Ford Blue, and Ford Pro.

    • Develop and define, with collaboration across key stakeholders including Engineering and Marketing, a commercial and technology strategy for Ford's audio.

    • Become an expert in automotive audio, including industry trends, competitor offerings, emerging technology, manufacturing processes, risk mitigation strategies, and commercial dynamics.

    What you'll do...

    • Strengthen existing supplier partnerships, and develop new supplier relationships, enabling Ford to better align with and influence supplier technology roadmaps.

    • Develop, manage, and execute sourcing strategies with industry-leading partners multiple tiers deep into the supply chain to reduce risk and minimize cost.

    • Build executive level relationships across the industry to understand and influence key trends.

    • Proactively influence the cross-functional team to drive the best outcome for Ford. Guide and mentor peers on the supply chain team.

    • Champion continuous improvement activities and challenge legacy ways of doing business.

    You'll have...

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical or Industrial) or Business/Supply Chain.

    • Prior experience leading teams and managing people or demonstrated ability to mentor and influence others.

    • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering or Sales

    • 2+ years of experience with the Electronics industry

    Even better, you may have...

    • Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical or Industrial) or Business/Supply Chain.

    • A knack for negotiations skills, with a demonstrated ability to reaching closure on complex and ambiguous issues.

    • Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and grow individuals.

    • Highly effective communicator that can seamlessly transition from bottom-up details to concise, clear executive messaging.

    • Proactive and resourceful; comfortable navigating across an organization to obtain alignment and get things done.

    • Ability to translate high-level strategy to tactical execution.
