  • Description Our client, a preeminent local real estate law firm, is currently seeking a capable Associate Attorney with a specific focus on real estate litigation matters, and an emphasis on evictions and tax appeals. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of property regulations and legal issues and must show interest to contribute effectively to our legal team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Handle real estate related litigation including evictions, tax appeals and other related disputes.

    2. Provide legal advice and support on various legal issues related to real estate such as leases, acquisitions, property management etc.

    3. Reviewing and drafting legal documents including pleadings, briefs, contracts, eviction notices, and lease agreements.

    4. Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations and negotiation meetings.

    REQUIREMENTS

    1. Law Degree from an accredited law school.

    2. Up to 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on real estate cases preferred.

    3. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.

    4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    6. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

    7. Efficient negotiation and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in Real Estate Law is required

    • A high degree of ethics, integrity and gravitas

    • Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to the standards of the industry

    • Strong ability to research and understand statutes, regulations, and procedures

    • Willingness to keep up with continuing education requirements and changes in the law

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
