    Come be a part of one of the most exciting and fastest-growing areas at Apple. The Apple Services team is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and entrepreneurial individual to lead Athlete Relations for our growing Apple Sports business. This role will coordinate across athletes, live sports rights holders, and internal Apple stakeholders to develop and help activate against an athlete-focused strategy that complements the broader Apple Sports initiatives. The role requires a highly motivated and adaptive self-starter to meet goals and hard deadlines. You should have a proven track record of using a data driven approach to develop marketing, social, and experiential athlete-centric programs, with established high-level industry connections. In this role, you will lead our athlete relations and be responsible for developing and activating against a comprehensive athlete-centric strategy that supports the broader Apple Sports initiatives. You will work collaboratively with teams across Apple, including product, marketing, engineering, finance, business development, and live production. You will ensure technical and business objectives are met, and that customers are provided the best live sports experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum 10+ years of meaningful industry work experience with a deep understanding of the live sports rights marketplace and specific experience working directly with athletes on marketing, social, and experiential initiatives.

    • Strong relationships at the player agency, management, and individual player level.

    • Strong analytics skills, with ability to develop and assess programs based on underlying data analysis; ability to develop and manage against detailed budgets.

    • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working partnerships inside and outside of Apple.

    • Bachelors degree; MBA preferred

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,400 and $250,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
