  • Job Purpose:

    Provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Youth Ministry of Journey Church.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Environments, Admin and Security Team on Wednesday YTH Nights.
    • Assist Youth Coordinators with workflows and onboarding.
    • Assist in event planning logistics with the Youth Team and oversee logistics and purchases for each event.
    • Assist Youth Team by providing administrative support for Summer Camps/Trips.
    • Assist the transition of 5th Graders, 8th Graders and Graduating Seniors.
    • Assist with setup and tear down of supplies in Youth Ministry environments.
    • Order and restock supplies and snacks for Youth Ministry events (snacks, service food, events, curriculum, etc).
    • Schedule weekly communication with students and parents via Clearstream.
    • Enter First Time Guest information into PCO following Youth Nights.
    • Send first time guest reports to LW Youth Team on Thursday mornings.
    • Send missed one week and two week texts, and three week postcards.
    • Oversee student and leader birthday recognition system.
    • Update, monitor, and communicate metrics weekly to the Youth Director.
    • Help oversee receipt entries into Expensify.
    • Take notes in all Youth Meetings.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Communicate and create clarity around the values of Journey Church's culture within Journey Youth.
    • Work with Youth Coordinators to recruit new leaders on Sunday Mornings.
    • Promote church wide ministry events.
    • Complete the 15five Check-In form for review with the Youth Director.

    • Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
    • Spiritually mature: models the lifestyle of a passionate follower of Jesus.
    • Models standards and expectations of leaders within Journey Church.

    Qualifications | Experience:

    • 3 years of related ministerial experience
    • Administratively gifted
    • Critical thinker
    • Highly organized in time, material, and people resources
    • Skilled in managing projects
    • Capable of handling multiple projects effectively
    • Experience in organizing multiple people
    • Organized, flexible, able to multitask
