    A Washington, DC based Association Management firm is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Associates. Position available immediately. In this role, the Associate will provide member services, administration, database management, and project management support for AMS clients. This individual will have the opportunity to learn a variety of areas of association management and work closely with the AMS leaders and clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the day-to-day member services activities
    • Administer and Oversee member inquiries, application process, and member onboarding
    • Manage and support all applicable association Committees and Task Forces
    • Oversee data quality and integrity of the membership databases and association websites
    • Serve as project manager for various association initiatives and activities
    • Develop constituent communications including membership newsletters
    • Provide project and administrative support as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • A minimum of three years' experience in member services
    • Ability to work from the office a minimum two days per week
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Excellent customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically
    • Proficient in handling multiple mailboxes and responding to high volumes member inquiries via phone and email
    • Prior experience with database management systems
    • Proficient in database and communications systems management
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
    • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
    • Ability to work both in a team environment and operate independently

    Travel

    Travel to occasional in-person team meetings and/or annual meetings is anticipated.

    ADA Specifications

    This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
