Summary:
Meta seeks a highly motivated team player to serve as Associate General Counsel, Exploitation & Financial Crimes Compliance. This position will play a key role in advising on Meta's compliance program, in particular with respect to human exploitation & adjacent harms manifesting in Meta's apps or transactions (e.g., financial crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, sextortion, child safety). Required Skills:
Associate General Counsel, Human Exploitation & Emerging Risks Compliance Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support for product and second line compliance teams with respect to our compliance obligations under US and other laws
Collaborate and align with relevant functions e.g. Product, Compliance, Investigations, to optimize, draft, review and implement safety compliance policies, processes, controls and training
Support second line monitoring and testing teams as they evaluate controls
Advise on safety compliance risks for product and supplier operations
Support internal compliance investigations and risk assessments and support external audits
Undertake special projects and support other payments compliance program initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
8+ years of relevant experience with financial crimes or user welfare laws, second line compliance or programmatic compliance design at a law firm or in-house with a multinational corporation
Preferred Qualifications:

Public Compensation:
$226,000/year to $304,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
