Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

M&Q Communications Lead

Overall Job Purpose
The network communications lead will be responsible for leading all execution of integrated communications strategies for network and site communications for the API and Dry Network and Parenteral and Device Network in M&Q. The lead will work with site communications to develop a playbook for effective proactive and reactive internal and external communications, partner with HR for communications planning and implementation across sites and evaluate impact. The role will closely partner with network leadership to align network, organization and enterprise strategies. The role will also lead site communicators to build capabilities, share best practices, and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Responsibilities
Manage a network of site communicators and partner across communications to research, plan, develop and implement an integrated communications strategy across the network.
Work with agency of record and Lilly peers to research best practices and integrate into work
Refresh content, speakers and cadence of regular communications touchpoints
Suggest an annual strategy for capability building with diverse internal/external speakers
Think creatively for strategy and solutions to engagement across sites in support of M&Q employee engagement and retention
Support leader communications to further the M&Q narrative and create employee and stakeholder engagement.
Support development of governance and guidance for network and M&Q site communications, including media, branding, recruiting communications and other forms of engagement at the local and network level.
Support upcoming M&Q internal/external announcements in support of business expansions, investments, partnerships and growth.
Basic Qualification
Bachelor's Degree
Business level English
A self-starter who is passionate about delivering creative solutions and leading others in doing so
Ability and passion to operate in a complex multicultural environment
Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams and influencing
A minimum of 5 years of communications experience with a proven track record of planning and delivering communications strategies
Experience working with communications metrics and analytics
Demonstrated experience creating a vision and strategic plans that influence department initiatives.
