Associate Designer

• Assist in the concept and design of a variety of 3D products for the wallflower and car fragrance categories.
• 3D product design and a solutions-focused approach to various plastic injection molding principles and techniques and finishes.
• Assist in the creation and execution of final designs.
• Create Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for production.
• Work with cross functional development partners during product sampling stages
• Assist in the manipulation of data with the use of 3D Software (ideally Z-Brush)
• Update design board layouts and printouts.
• Communicate with packaging engineers and vendors on design modifications.
• Assist in identifying innovation within the spheres of: LED lighting techniques, plastic finishes, and the competitive landscape
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of prior experience in 2D / 3D design, Industrial design / product design, toy design, fashion accessory design, illustration
• Strong sense of trend in relevant fields such as: home décor, fashion, color, consumer goods
• Strong level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills
• Computer illustration skills - Strong Illustrator and Photoshop are required.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of 3D modeling software (Z brush preferred).
• Ability to work in an agile, highly collaborative design environment
• Proven communication skills.
• Candidate should be curious, self-motivated with a passion for learning.
