    Job Description

    Acts as a default IT/BTS point of contact for Travel & Expense (T&E) systems, with a background in configuring Travel & Expense Application or Enterprise/Corporate or ERP financial applications ensuring smooth system operations, adherence to compliance policies, and optimal user experience. Manages and provides expert advice on the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Travel & Expense Application. Analyzes and documents business processes and requirements, identifies solutions, assesses feasibility, and makes recommendations. Translates business requirements into functional specifications; coordinates and performs testing, validation, and demonstrations for business partners. Works collaboratively to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and provides ongoing support for system improvements.

    Re sponsibilities

    Elicits and communicates with Business Partners to understand specific business processes, requirements and opportunities for improvement; identifies IT capabilities and information required to support the business processes and collaborates in the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.

    • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures when proposing a solution, Ensure the integrity of the system design to support a global model. Ensure system configuration complies with company policies and regulatory requirements to maintain system integrity.

    • Identifies current and emerging business needs and evaluates alternative technology solutions using standard information systems methodologies and best practices. Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities with business partners for the application of new or existing technology capabilities.

    • Develops technology strategies that meet the requirements of the business. Identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies. Ensures compliance between business strategies and technology directions. Prepares testing plans to confirm that requirements and system design are accurate and complete.

    • Analyze the impact of system changes and partner with cross-functional teams such as Workday, payroll, SAP, compliance, and reporting to ensure seamless integration with other applications and support continuous process improvements.

    • Provide design recommendations and identify potential conflicts impacting the end user experience. Create and maintain System Life Cycle (SLC) documents for system implementations and enhancements.

    • Collaborate with business users to understand gaps, troubleshooting issues, and work with the technical team to resolve problems efficiently. Manage and perform system configurations to meet business requirements, as well as assist in the design, development, and testing of solutions.

    • Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities with business unit executives for the application of new or existing technology capabilities. Ensure proposed solutions accurately align with business needs and provide reliable information for justification and prioritization.

    • Allies with other BTS functional areas to remain current on project status, and inform Business Partners of progress; conversely, keeps BTS managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.

    • Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed solution to the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made. Also accountable for communicating business needs and drivers to development groups to assure the implementation phase can fulfill the business need.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' experience; Or Master's Degree with 5 years' experience; Or PhD with 0 years' experience.

    Preferred

    • Experience with Concur Travel & Expense application is preferred

    • Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design and solution approach to the Business Team
