    n Associate Biologist to work onsite in Manassas, VA

    We're

    looking for an entry-level Associate Biologist to

    manufacture

    biological materials

    You'll work under guidance to support

    production

    of biological cultures and

    derivative products

    , as well as contribute to data collection

    and recording

    Highly preferred experience includes bacteriology lab work performing bacterial growth, scale and harvest with experience of bacterial techniques, including gram stain, plating and aseptic technique highly preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Manufacturing

      Operations:

      Manufacturing

      or

      quality control (QC)

      testing of biological

      products by following

      standard operating procedures (SOP

      s

      work instructions

      and other controlled documents. M

      aintain laboratory

      safety,

      operations, equipment, and supplies.

    • Documentation:

      Maintain

      production

      batch

      records in compliance with

      good

      laboratory practices.

      Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation.

    • Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving:

      Master

      a

      septic technique

      gain experience with

      various

      cell lines and organisms

      , and

      tackle routine challenges in alignment with organizational policies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree

      in a scientific field

      with 0-2 years of relevant experience

      or

      equivalent

    • Hands on laboratory experience and aseptic technique

      preferred

    • Attention to

      detail

    • Ability to

      adhere to

      corporate policies and

      procedures

    • Prior exposure to microbiology

      bacteriology, mycology, protistology)

      , molecular biology, cell biology,

      or

      virology

      preferred

    Benefits

    The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
