  • Reporting to the UL line actuary, the Associate Actuary for UL Projects will be responsible for execution of high priority initiatives for the Canadian Universal Life product line; including a) analysis and implementation of new in-force treaties, b) annual assumption (basis change) reviews, and c) follow-up investigation related to quarterly driver of earnings. This role is a key contributor to the team's mandate to contribute to the proactive management of the Retail business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high impact deliverables , present findings to actuarial and finance leaders , and develop expertise in one of Cdn segment's largest and most complex lines of business.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Actuarial designation (FSA or near-FSA) with at least 5 years of relevant experience

    • Independent self-starter

    • Exceptional capability for highly complex root cause analysis

    • Results oriented , experience working under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities

    • Strong technical skills, ability to work independently in AXIS if required

    Salary range is expected to be between

    $78,975.00 CAD - $142,155.00 CAD
