The community you'll be caring for : AdventHealth Riverview

• AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

• The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

• This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

• AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care.

The role you'll contribute :

The retail assistant manager has management responsibility for the retail shop(s) that they are assigned to manage. The assistant manager in the retail locations are budgeted to meet and/or exceed their given target in sales per year. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervising their employees, hiring new team members, coaching and motivating their sales team to meet established sales expectations. The assistant manager is responsible to assist the manager with the day-to-day operations of the retail storefront and must be able to achieve and exceed monthly sales and meet net income expectations. The assistant manager will be responsible for providing high quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Supports retail manager with managing the day-to-day operations in an efficient and effective manner. Demonstrates strong customer service and organizational skills in planning and supervising successful events that promote a positive impact for the program, hospital, and customers.

• Effectively seeks and applies new concepts and techniques to enhance program and build employee and customer loyalty

• Actively encourages customers to register to be on Retail's mailing listing.

• Achieves and/or exceeds monthly budgetary sales, gross profit, and net income goals established by retail leadership.

• Verifies that assignments of daily/weekly sales goals are assigned to team members and reviews areas of opportunities with each member as needed. Complies and enforces all standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• High School Grad or Equiv and 2 years experience

• Associates degree in marketing or related area, AND/OR Three years of relevant retail experience -Experience in both retail and management

• Driver's License
