In our summer internship program, you'll work alongside professionals in the industry while also engaging in events just for interns, including a jobsite ride along, Insights Discovery Workshop, mentorship opportunities, and more! Our internship program lasts 12-weeks, with flexible start and end dates to meet the needs of your school and extracurricular schedule.

    Responsibilities:
    The basic responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager Intern include but are not limited to:
    • Assist and support Curtainwall Construction Assistant Project Managers & Project Managers with a variety of projects to include: Change orders, RFIs, submittals, job meetings, billing, and estimating.
    • Perform project set-up including equipment leasing, arranging labor, purchasing materials, and tracking cost.
    • Assist in the coordination and supervision of system installation.
    • Assist in project close-out and provide assistance to project managers and customers in fostering long-term customer relationships.
    • Assist in coordinating the drafting of all system-specific details of Curtainwall systems, including submittal drawings, shop drawings, and parts drawings in CAD.
    • Assist in analyzing Curtainwall drawings specifications and related data to determine design requirements.
    • Assist in developing and updating project schedule and project logs to keep projects on track.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Construction Management or related field with expected graduation December 2025 or May 2026.
    • 3.0-3.5 GPA or higher given priority consideration.
    • Active participation in clubs, sports, volunteer work, and extracurricular activities given priority consideration.
    Qualifications:
    • Proficient in the use of Google suite.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
    • Ability to be creative and flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities at once.
    • Ability / knowledge / familiarity working with and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
    • Skilled in performing standard mathematical calculations.
    Working Conditions:
    • Performance of duties will mostly be in the Champlin office with visits to job sites as needed.
    • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
    • Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements.
    • Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are frequent needs.
