Assistant Financial Controller- Accounting Manager

This is a full-time on-site role as Assistant Financial Controller at D & H Company located in Tupelo, MS. The role involves overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and team development.

This position guides and directs all accounting decisions but more importantly the individual will be involved in day-to-day decisions involving the entire business and will play an active role in the future of the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. If you have a passion for numbers, accuracy, and financial planning, we'd love to hear from you!

As the business transitions more and more to automation and the use of AI this role will play an active part in the decision-making process and the follow-through to ensure those technological decisions are achieving the desired results.

This role will transition to Financial Controller as quickly as the qualified individual is ready to assume full responsibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Experience with financial analysis and reporting

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strong interest in technology and its application

• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• CPA certification is a plus
