High Point University is seeking an Assistant Director of Graduate Operations. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Admissions Technology & Operations. The Assistant Director of Graduate Operations will provide leadership, strategic planning, and implementation of the Graduate Slate instance. Additionally, this individual will serve as the lead contact and liaison between the Office of Graduate Admissions and the Office of Admissions Operations.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the Assistant Director of Graduate Operations will provide direction and insights on how to utilize enrollment technologies to strategically maximize enrollment opportunity and grow graduate enrollment in a way that is consistent with High Point University's mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education:A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience and Training:- 3-5 years of experience, preferably at an institution of higher education.
- Experience and successful track record in recruitment and admissions is preferred. Other customer focused and relationship development experience can be considered.
- Exposure to CRM and a Student Information System
- Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND FUNCTIONS:The essential duties, responsibilities, and functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyze data-driven user needs, policies, processes, and operational methods to develop improvements to new and existing systems.
- Build and revise portals and event landing pages as needed.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Digital Developer to ensure all Graduate Slate-based links are correctly displayed on High Point University's website.
- Create and maintain forms, populations, rules, queries, reports, workflows, bin movements, and other Slate functionalities.
- Manage and create Graduate Slate-based online applications, rounds, and periods.
- Maintain the integrity of Slate integrations with Centralized Application Service (CAS), Mongoose: Cadence, and new technologies, while managing error corrections.
- Import data into admissions systems from external sources and export data for distributions to various stakeholders.
- Develop training material, facilitate training sessions for current and new staff in the proper use of admission specific technology.
- Supervise the Graduate Admissions Communication Coordinator by providing directional oversight of the communication strategy (e.g., email, text, and phone campaigns), proofreading communications, and approving communications with insights from the Office of Graduate Admissions.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve admissions technology-related issues.
- Work with campus stakeholders to identify technical needs for assigned projects and develop solutions consistent with the Office of Admissions Operations standards.
- Oversee projects and initiatives as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Admissions Technology and Operations.
