    We are seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to join our Finance Team. The Assistant Director of Finance is responsible for assisting in the financial planning and execution of the organization's financial strategy and will work with the Director of Finance to develop long-term plans and annual budgets. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, and general office hours are from 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. daily. Specific work hours are flexible. Workday lengths for exempt employees are determined primarily by their current workloads.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    · Assist the Director of Finance to implement fiscal policy as set forth by the Board.

    · Assist in financial planning and execution of the financial strategy.

    · Oversee monthly grant reimbursement invoices.

    · Prepare/analyze monthly financials for all grant contracts.

    · Assist in developing long-term financial plans.

    · Work with the Chief Financial Officer & Director of Finance in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor the status on a regular basis.

    · Research and make recommendations on financial improvements.

    · Prepare monthly program profit & loss reports and interface with program teams to ensure an understanding of financial data for the purposes of managing budgets.

    · Prepare the agency Annual Financial Report.

    · Prepare/analyze monthly financials for all grant contracts. Prepare budgets for grant applications.

    · Track all grants and contracts to ensure both grant compliance and proper reimbursement.

    · Maintain records for outside agency audits.

    · Performs additional duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer or Director of Finance according to business needs.

    Requirements:

    · Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

    · Three to five years of experience in fund accounting preferred.

    · Working knowledge of regulatory bodies relating to payroll, taxes and general business financial conditions required.

    · Working knowledge of financial and payroll software required.

    · Excellent computer skills required.

    · Requires ability to operate business equipment used daily within the organization.

    · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.

    · May require safely lifting up to 15 lbs.

    Compensation details: 65000-85000 Yearly Salary
