  • Responsibilities• Create, vet and develop curriculum for TEF education programs enterprise wide including the creation of an e-curriculum library.

    • Participates in the development of program goals and priorities and assists in directing program services and evaluating the results obtained.

    • Support development and ongoing implementation of strong programs.

    • Develop and direct staff development and in-service training.

    • Collaborate with instructional coaches to develop and provide ongoing professional development focused on best practices.

    • Design and create new products as well as maintaining or updating existing one's effective program management.

    • Drive and execute integrated project plans, monitor and assess program execution, escalate and resolve risks/barriers to success; deliver concise and timely reporting tailored to appropriate stakeholder audiences.

    • Support areas within TEF with regards to new product and service initiatives to stay current on industry changes in healthcare, technology and innovation.

    • Identify opportunities to introduce methods or ideas of change across the organization, including process change and tool creation.

    • Develop/recommend workshop presentations to expand knowledge and skills of client and staff.

    • Create a culture of continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and professional development.

    • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Conduct continuous evaluation and improvements of existing education programs in collaboration with other TEF departments.

    • Oversee the supervision of staff, monitor budgets and engage stakeholders for the purpose of delivering high quality education services.

    • Collaborate with TEF sectors (acute and long-term care, and regions) to understand their unique educational needs and designing educational solution for homecare, nursing home and hospital employers and their workforce.

    • Monitor and evaluate education programs, teachers/facilitators and vendors.

    • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in education, Health Care or related field required; master's degree preferred.

    • Minimum six (6) years' experience in providing health care education programs and/or leading and managing projects and/or initiatives in a labor management environment required; four (4) years supervisory experience required.

    Strong curriculum, organizational, and staff development, and project management skills.
    Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, travel to various locations in New York Metropolitan area.

    • Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

    • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, plan and coordinate work in a time sensitive environment.
