We at Aurora on France TCU Skilled Nursing Center- Ebenezer are searching for a Assistant Administrator who assists the Social Service department in meeting the needs of our transitional care unit TCU short stay patients and families through various tasks and activities completed under the supervision of the TCU Administrator. Located in Edina, MN,

    This Assistant Administrator position includes;

    80 hours every two weeks

    Day shift, no weekends

    Administer, direct, and coordinate activities for the Health Care Facility with support from the TCU Administrator.

    • Gives clear directions, explains reasons for decisions, and solicits employee input to maximize group capabilities.

    • Reflects problem solving skills, which diagnose problems quickly, and recommends or implements effective solutions.

    • Prioritizes multiple tasks to assure appropriate actions are initiated when needed.

    Organize the functions of departments through appropriate delegation of duties with support from the TCU Administrator.

    • Establishes formal means of accountability from those to whom the administrator has assigned duties.

    • Regularly schedules interdepartmental and departmental meetings to maintain communication and cooperation between team members.

    Supports strong census at care center with support of TCU Administrator.

    • Actively participates in marketing efforts.

    • Monitors the maintenance of referral database, lead follow-up, and census/occupancy records.

    • Monitors customer satisfaction and follow through plans.

    Supports Financial Excellence.

    • Participates with managers to manage, track, and review financials and budget regularly.

    • Monitors monthly financial performance and makes correcting operational adjustments as necessary.

    Promotes Employee Engagement

    • Adheres to Corporate HR Policy and administers them fairly.

    • Monitors employee satisfaction through retention/turnover/connectedness surveys.

    • Monitors open positions, workers comp, LOA's and staffing to assure proper staffing for the Care Center

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's Degree: List - LTC Administration, Management, Human Services or related

    • MN Nursing Home Administrator License (within 90-days of hire date)
