    JOB SUMMARY

    Perform various light industrial production assembly and support duties as directed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Read worksheets, wiring diagrams, and written instructions.

    • Follow written and verbal instructions.

    • Accurately count parts (by hand and using weigh count scales) and track materials.

    • Select and insert appropriate electronic components into printed circuit boards according to instructions and sample provided.

    • Twist, bend, trim or strip wire leads of components or ream holes in boards to insert wire leads.

    • Insert color-coded wires in designated holes and clinch wire ends.

    • Press-fit (mount) component leads onto boards.

    • Place plastic insulating sleeves around specified wire leads of components and shrinks sleeves into place.

    • Crimp and/or clip wire leads on underside of boards.

    • Apply sealer or masking compound to selected parts of boards to protect parts from effects of wave solder process.

    • Solder wire leads and joints on underside of boards to route and connect lead wires to boards and between individual components.

    • Install heat sinks, sockets, faceplates, and accessories on boards.

    • Activate process controls on equipment to regulate operating speeds, flowrates, pressures and temperatures.

    • Observe equipment meters, gauges, and indicator lights to ensure that process parameters conform to processing standards, and adjusts as necessary.

    • Perform required testing to ensure the functionality of the unit or assembly.

    • Label / print plastic cases according to specifications.

    Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
