    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the final assembly of high-end retail store displays using a variety of hand tools including a drill, handheld router, and air nail gun. This role involves integrating various materials such as plastics, metals, and electronics into the store displays, working from blueprints. The candidate will need to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch precision.

    Other responsibilities include matching materials for color, grain, or texture, trimming component parts of joints for a snug fit, making holes for screws or dowels, and using glue, fits, and clamps for unit assembly. The candidate will also drive nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints, sand and scrape surfaces for finishing, and install hardware such as hinges.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is clean, well lit, and organized. It is also air-conditioned and humidity-controlled. We offer flexible shift options: 2 positions for the 1st shift from 6:30am-3pm with the opportunity to work up to 10 hours of overtime a week and occasionally on Saturdays from 6am-11am. If a 2nd shift is needed, the hours are Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:30am with overtime on Fridays.
